Hi, I’m Kallie—and yes, I was once voted “friendliest” in high school. (A cute title with a costly legacy.)

Before I found somatics, my life was ruled by chronic people-pleasing, blurry boundaries, and a near-constant fear of disappointing others. I could make myself likable in any room… but I couldn’t feel myself in any of them. And the impact wasn’t just emotional—it showed up as confusion, burnout, and chronic physical pain I couldn’t explain.

Everything began to shift when I discovered somatic work—not the surface-level kind, but the deep, clinical, trauma-informed frameworks rooted in nervous system physiology, parts work, and embodied repair.

I’ve spent the past several years immersed in extensive study and mentorship, including advanced training in Somatic Experiencing, somatic parts work, and integrative somatic trauma therapy modalities.

I take the science and depth of this work seriously. And I bring that same rigor and nuance into how I support my clients.

Now, I help other sensitive, smart, system-overloaded humans do the same: untangle the people-pleasing, connect with what they actually want, and build the capacity to hold it.

This work isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you were before the world told you that you had to shape shift to belong.

SHED Program Assistant + Community Call Facilitator

We’re excited to welcome Kiona as our assistant in SHED. She’ll be supporting the container through embodied presence and integration.

Kiona is a movement guide and embodiment coach who helps people reconnect with their bodies as a source of agency, power, and aliveness. Her work blends somatic awareness, embodied strength, and creative expression to support a shift out of survival and into presence, clarity, and inner authority.

Her approach is trauma-informed and grounded in both psychology and the body.

She holds a BA in Psychology, is a NASM-certified personal trainer and RYT-200 yoga teacher, and has completed Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy training through Embody Lab, with additional study in somatic dance and therapeutic embodiment.

Kiona’s work is shaped by her own path out of freeze, disconnection, and people-pleasing—using movement and somatics as a way back into sensation, choice, and self-trust.

Her style is not about fixing or performing, but about inhabiting the body more fully and building self-led strength from the inside out.

Fawning in Your Work/Business

Performing for the Paycheck. People-pleasing doesn’t stop at the office door.

  • How to stop doing the most & burning out for your clients

  • Exploring overgiving, over-delivering, & fear of disappointing at work

  • Understanding how power-dynamics can trigger fawning

  • Tools to explore boundaries and using your voice with confidence

Fawning with Family +

Navigating Cultural Differences

Coming Home Without Collapsing

Just in time for the holiday season, this module holds the most loaded territory of all: family systems and cultural nuance..

  • Repair, rupture, and sacred disobedience

  • Understanding cultural nuance when it comes to familial relationships and boundary expression

Month 5:

Sexual Fawning

Merge, Disappear, Repeat

Where do you go when someone likes you back? This month we get intimate with intimacy—and all the ways we lose ourselves in it.

  • Exploring the roles we play to be wanted

  • Sexual fawning: freeze, perform, and override responses. How does this extremely relational response show up in the bedroom + beyond?

  • Explore ways to stay in relationship without becoming enmeshed or disappearing.

  • How to maintain contact with your own needs and express them with kindness

Month 6:

Villain Work (+ Jealousy as a Catalyst)

Integrating your "bad" parts and letting go of shame. Using jealousy as a compass to find your way back to yourself.

  • Playing with "being the villain" - would it be so bad to be bad?

  • Connecting with your body's capacity to be disliked

  • Using jealousy as a creative compass to reconnect with your buried desires
